I almost don't want this story to end on Monday, I'm having so much fun with it.
Things in the freelance world are, in a word, insane. I have three active gigs right now, one of which is fucking awesome but I'm under NDA about, one which totally sucks balls, and one that's actually really interesting but in some kind of communications limbo. On top of these three jobs I'm also lecturing at a middle school about animation.
Oh, have I not mentioned this before? I should bring it up, because it's forced my hand to work on this:

I'm usually weary to talk about animated projects of any kind because so often, they rely on other people to do the voices and thus never actually materialise. So I decided, I have two versions of myself running around in the comic, why not do some shorts where they just interact with one another? Thus "Talking Two Myself" was born. And as part of the class I'm lecturing at, I'm taking the students through the process of making an animated short, starting with basic character design and working through storyboards to a finished short film. So, depending how things go with these lectures, the Animation section should finally get its first cartoon by next Friday. It's called, "Going Crackers".
